Enjoy Labor Day!

We have reached the end of August, and I am seeing some excellent work from the students.  Interims will be coming home soon (Sept. 8th), but you might check PowerSchool to see how your students is doing.

Some students who have been absent are not getting their make-up work turned in.  It is most important that they complete assignments so they will obtain the knowledge they need.  I observe that missing work contributes to failure more than anything else.  Remind your student about completing missing work.

IMPORTANT DATES IN SEPTEMBER:

PICTURE DAY – 9-5

INTERIMS – 9-8

OPEN HOUSE/CLUB FAIR – 9-18

A Wonderful First Week

The first week of school went extremely well.   I think we are all exhausted, but hopefully we will adjust to our school schedule soon.  I want to thank all the parents who attended curriculum night.   Team 8A anticipates a productive year.  Remember to check the agenda by clicking on the tab at the top of this page.
