Travel Book Report
Imagine you are a travel agent or person from your particular state or country. Try to get your audience interested in taking a trip to your selected location. Be creative, descriptive, and original.
Requirements
1. A travelogue (A speech about the place written on note cards)
2. A poster or a map of the place
3. Artifacts to represent some aspect of the location you have selected.
4. Edibles – Bring a note explaining the ingredients of any homemade food or include the package if it is store bought
5. The book about the place on which you are reporting
6. The presentation must be at least 5 minutes in length.
** For extra credit, you can dress in clothes or a costume that represents your place.
GRADING
A – All 6 things are completed in an acceptable manner.
B – 5 things are completed in an acceptable manner.
C – 4 things are completed in an acceptable manner.
D – 3 things are completed in an acceptable manner.
F – 2 or less things are completed in an acceptable manner.
This is an oral report. Please be sure to practice and know your speech well. Make sure you speak loudly and clearly!!!
